Based on the beloved holiday film, this hilarious fish-out-of-water comedy follows Buddy the Elf in his quest to find his true identity. Come see Harnett County’s youth, ages 10-18, share one of their favorite stories and make it one of your favorite Christmas stories! Make HRT part of your holiday tradition!

Harnett Regional Theatre will be bring Elf Jr. Mary Poppins and Steel Magnolias to the area in the 2019-2020 Season. Follow us on social media and here for upcoming audition dates and performance schedules.
ATTEND EITHER NIGHT IN AGE GROUP, ONLY ONE NIGHT IS REQUIRED:
December 9th or 10th Ages 10 – 18 – 6:30PM, Ages 18 and up – 7:30PM

Mary Poppins is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also applied by MTI. www.MTIShows.com
- Please be prepared to sing at least 16 bars of music (acapella), read from the script at the director’s discretion and perform a piece of choreography taught at auditions.
- If auditioning for the role of Mary Poppins, please be prepared to sing “Feed the Birds” acapella.
- Tap Dancers should bring tap shoes.
- Audition Form can be completed in advance, bring with you to the audition. Printed copies will be available.
The show dates will be February 28, 29, March 1 and the following weekend, March 6, 7, 8
Rehearsals will start in January. Dates and times have not yet been determined.
Concessions + Good Eats
Beer, wine and snacks are available and can be purchased with cash or card.
In addition, Harnett Regional Theatre is conveniently located in Historic Downtown Dunn. Many great restaurants are easily accessible and some within walking distance.
General Admission tickets are available online, at the ticket booth in front of the Stewart Theater before showtime, and at the Dunn Tourism office located at 103 E Cumberland Street in Dunn, NC.
Tickets can be purchased with cash or card.
