HRT is a non-profit community theatre and as with most community theaters, ticket sales do not meet the cost of keeping the doors open. Many of you may ask what does that mean. It means that we must have your donations along with sponsorships and grants to make ends meet. Below are some examples of our expenses from last season to show you how your donations will help us survive.
- Royalties and Scripts: $3,260.74
- Costumes: $4,330.53
- Sets: $2,226.13
- Musicians: $3,175.00
- Suessical (Total cost): $12,830.46
As you can see, it costs a lot of money to produce the high quality theatre you have come to expect from us. This season’s expenses will be even higher because we are doing 4 shows and two of them are musicals! Please help us continue doing what we love for Harnett County!
